(Brief Records of Huizhou Region) Notable ones include *Yishuo (Medical Talks)* in 10 volumes written by Zhang Gao of the Song Dynasty, which is the earliest existing book in China containing a large number of biographies of medical history figures and medical historical materials, and also the first relatively complete medical work of Xin'an medicine; *Shishan Yi'an (Medical Cases of Shishan)* in 3 volumes written by Wang Ji of Qimen, "he followed the medical theories of Danxi as his school, was not limited to a single approach in clinical practice, and was skilled in inspection and pulse diagnosis;""*Mingyi Leian (Classified Medical Cases of Famous Doctors)* in 12 volumes compiled by Jiang of Shexian County, which collected effective medical cases from famous doctors from Bian Que, Cang Gong, Hua Tuo in ancient times down to those of the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, with extremely rich contents, and is the first monograph in China that compiles medical cases of famous doctors throughout the ages."
